A new work in progress and close to my heart.

Dreamwave leaves the curated glow of Chromapolis behind, but stays in that same universe.

It shifts tonality and is intended to be more raw, intuitive, and stream of consciousness.

We’re no longer in the city. We are headed for the beach, „Leaving for Santa Onda, where the signal fades to gray“.

Dreamwave deals with loss, a search for universal knowledge and coming to terms with your inner world. It might be a ‚coming of age novel‘, only that I do not really believe in that term. Noone ever finishes ‚coming of age‘. Every age comes with an own set of struggles. It is part of what makes us human.

The inspiration from dreamwave comes from two unrelated sources that seem oddly connected:

  • A now disclosed CIA file called the „Gateway Project“ dealing with methods of tapping into universal knowledge
  • The Buddhist concept of collective awareness.

At the moment this project is still very rough at the edges. I am not exactly sure where it is taking me and writing it already feels like riding The Dreamwave. The Open Sea has become my personal metaphor for collective knowledge.
I think riding the Dreamwave might mean facing fears, choosing acceptance over resistance, and leaning into the power of connection.

First chapters exist in German and are nowhere near ready for translation (yet). But I have already poured many of the story ideas into music.

Songs I love.

The first marks the transition of leaving Chromapolis and heading for Santa Onda and is still shaped by electronic influences. But from there the soundtract drifts into a beach-hippie vibe with tracks that are simple, raw and made to be played on a guitar.

I’ll be uploading chords, lyrics, and strumming suggestions for those who want to pick them up and play along.

Now, full disclaimer: I’m no great musician.
I enjoy playing many these songs myself, but I generated them with AI to help give shape to the ideas. It works for me. There’s something about the process that feels like tapping into a deeper layer of reality, something I have been thinking about a lot, since I started the Dreamwave journey.
(And in case you’re wondering, it’s not just a matter of pressing a button. The vision is very specific and the lyrics are mine.)

If you speak German, I invite you to read the first chapters.
If not, start with the music.
